Terms of Service

These terms form an agreement between you and the people who operate Photo to Painting at photo-to-painting.com ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

How the site works

You upload a photo, choose an art style, and an AI model paints a new image based on it. Because a machine makes the result, it may not be a faithful likeness and can include flaws such as strange details or warped features. Check it carefully before using it anywhere.

Free use

Each visitor may create one image free of charge, with no sign-up. The allowance is per person, not per browser: we track it by network and device, and switching devices or browsers, using VPNs, or running scripts to get more is forbidden. We may change or suspend the free allowance whenever we choose.

Photos you upload

• Only upload photos of yourself or of people who have given their consent. Pets and places are fine too.
• Never upload a photo of anyone under 18.
• Nothing showing nudity, sexual content, violence or hate, and nothing that is illegal where you are or where we are.

Your photo stays fully yours. You let us store it, process it and pass it to our AI providers solely to create the images you request, until it is deleted as set out in the Privacy Policy.

The paintings you create

From our side, the images belong to you: use them for personal or commercial purposes, as long as the use is lawful. We do not claim ownership of them. Keep two points in mind: some countries do not grant copyright to images made entirely by AI, and another person may receive a similar result from a similar request.

Do not use the images to impersonate anyone, to forge identity documents, or to mislead or harass others.

What is not allowed

• Breaking the law or infringing anyone's rights while you use the site.
• Working around the free allowance or the rate limits.
• Scraping or overloading the site, testing it for weaknesses, or trying to access data that doesn't belong to you.
• Reselling the service or building a product on top of it without our written consent.

Our content

We own the site's design, text, logo and sample images. Please don't copy them unless we have given you permission.

Changes, suspension and loss of access

We may alter, pause or discontinue any part of the site. If you break these terms, we may cut off your access without warning.

No warranties

The site comes "as is" and "as available". We make no promise that it will always be up, that it will be error-free, or that any result will fit what you need it for.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law permits, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data or missed opportunities. For any claim related to the site, our total liability is capped at the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. These terms do not take away any rights that the law of your country grants you and that cannot be waived.

Updates to these terms

Whenever we revise these terms, the date at the top of the page is updated too. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the revised version.
